Brad joined the ITSS staff in August of 2005 as the UND Information Technology Security Officer. Prior to joining ITSS, he spent five years in the position of Information Technology Manager for Amazon.com, where he directed the network, server, telecommunications, helpdesk, and desktop support operations for Amazon.com’s Grand Forks facility. Brad served for 5 ½ years in the U.S. Air Force as the Network Control Center Chief at Grand Forks AFB and as an IT Security Engineer for the Air Force Communications Agency at Scott AFB, IL. Brad has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Brad’s primary duties as the IT Security Officer for UND will include developing IT Security policy, conducting security assessments of critical UND IT resources, and providing IT Security education, training, and awareness to students, faculty, and staff on the UND campus.
