The UND Student Web Server (U-Web) is to provide web space for currently enrolled students to post resumes, portfolios, and to meet instructional needs. FTP is used to transfer files to U-Web. For more information on the system as well as to activate/access, point your web browser to: http://uweb.und.nodak.edu/.

Special software is used to FTP files. The labs in the Union and Library have WS_FTP for Windows and Fetch for the Macintosh. Copies of this software may be downloaded from the software archive at: http://www.ndsu.nodak.edu/its/software_download. Instructions for using the software are located at: http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/itss/uweb/pctutor/publish.html.

Instructors may incorporate U-Web into their courses for students to publish class assignments on-line. If you are interested in using U-web for a course, please contact  Doris (777-3706) for more information.
