All these and more are highlighted in the current group of workshops offered by ITSS. The opportunity is free for the taking. ITSS training is based on Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Office XP packages. The new programs were integrated into our training schedule in summer 2002.
Our Training curriculum now comprises the Office XP Professional programs of Access XP, Excel XP, PowerPoint XP, and Word XP. ITSS offers three levels of training in all but PowerPoint. Our standard OS training is Windows XP. Workshops on Mail, E-mail, Web Browser, HTML, and Main Frame interface such as PageCenter and TSO continue to be offered. Workshops are free and open to faculty, staff, and student employees. All registration for ITSS computer workshops is through the University within the University (U2). We have also transitioned to a new courseware supplier. We now offer workshops based on Element K manuals. The new manuals are offered for all levels of Microsoft Office programs and Operating System training. The manuals are available for purchase as well as for use in workshops. The manuals come with course training files that enable participants to accomplish course objectives in class or on any computer.
