John joined the ITSS staff in 2004 as a Computing Equipment Operator. During his employment with UND, he obtained certifications in: A+, Network+, CCNA and MCP in Installing, Configuring and Administering MS Windows XP Professional. He is currently working towards completing an MCSA for Windows 2003 Server.
John, the youngest son of Ludwik Kulas, former Head of the Accounting Department for the University of North Dakota, grew up in Grand Forks. In 1983 he moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and worked for fifteen years in the pre-press industry doing image manipulation and retouching for advertising agencies. In 2002 he received a B.A.S.in Information Networking from the University of Minnesota.
