| Please note the following
financial aids available and the application
procedures to be followed for each. Let the
department know if you wish to apply for any
of these; this is especially the case for those
awards that require departmental nominations.
You should also check with the financial aids
office to insure that any award would not have
an adverse effect upon your loans or other aid
and to determine whether you must be eligible
for financial aid before you apply.
NOTE: TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THESE AWARDS, GRADUATE
STUDENTS MUST APPLY FOR THE AWARDS ON FORMS
AVAILABLE FROM THE GRADUATE SCHOOL OR FROM THE
DIRECTOR OF GRADUATE STUDY. Specify the award
for which you are applying.
The general requirement for all awards is that
the student must be a degree student in good
academic standing and be enrolled full time
while holding an award.
If you are interested in
any of these, have your application completed
and turned in to the department chair no later
than one week before the due date so that the
chair can prepare the proper endorsement before
forwarding to the Graduate School.
