Students may be admitted
to the college of Arts and Sciences when they
have completed 24 credit hours in the University
college, provided they have achieved normal
academic progress towards their degrees.
Transfer students are admitted directly to
the College if they have 24 or more transfer
credit hours and a satisfactory academic record,
generally a C or 2.0 average.
History majors must satisfy university graduation
requirements and the concentration requirements
of their respective plans and receive a C+ or
2.2 grade point average in history in order
to graduate.
Candidates for certification in public secondary
school teaching must also meet the admission
requirements of the Center for Teaching and
Learning.
