Third Week Data for Spring Semester 2002

The official third-week file of enrollment data has been produced for Spring Semester 2002. All institutions in the North Dakota University System are required to produce a third-week file; these data are considered official for all state and federal reporting. The following tables consist of official data extracted from that file. More detailed analysis of this information is available upon request from the Office of the Registrar.

Please note that the figures on the attached tables, "Headcounts by Major Class and Sex" and "Headcounts by Minor, Class and Sex," include both first and second majors and minors, respectively. Because some students are counted twice, the totals on these tables exceed the total enrollment figure.

The total Spring 2002 enrollment is 11,224. Students registered in graduate and undergraduate extended degree programs are included in the tables. Also, in accordance with the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education's enrollment reporting policy, correspondence study students were first reported for Summer 2001.
