Reminder:
An error has been identified
on the FY2006 core data resource pages. The file
is not correctly pulling in all of the salary
budget resources and FTE counts for vacant positions
that were budgeted.
The decision has been made to keep the core
data pages as they are. When using the core
data as a reference in your annual report,
note the following:
All expenditure data is correct. It is a summary
of all expenditures by fund for the entire
fiscal year.
Operating, equipment, and fringe budgets are
correct. The value represents the total adjusted
budget for the fiscal year.
Salary FTE and budget may be incorrect. What
is included are the FTE and salaries for all
permanent, single-occupant, filled positions
as of the beginning of FY2006. Any temporary,
student or GTA positions are not included.
This is the first year PeopleSoft data was
used to compile core data information, and
this problem was not identified in early testing.
It is our hope that by next year the problem
will be corrected. Watch the annual reporting
website for explanations to what data is represented
in the core data pages. In addition, if you
have referenced affected data in your department
annual report, please check to make sure the
description in your report is accurate.
