Biology 336

Systematic Botany

Welcome to the home of Systematic Botany, Biology 336, at the University of North Dakota. The class is designed to help you understand how a plant systematist does his or her job. The lecture portion of the class will concentrate on the more theoretical aspects of plant systematics. We will talk about species concept, taxonomy, nomenclature, phylogeny, data, data analysis, and many other topics. The lab will focus on plant identification, primarily at the family level.

This page links you to the other parts of the class and will contain any updates on the class. Please check it regularly for important things to know.
